Before you begin any repair work, you will need to drain the pool. Make sure to turn off the pool's pump and filter before doing so.
Use a hammer and chisel or a tile saw to carefully remove the damaged tiles. Be careful not to damage any surrounding tiles in the process.
Use a wire brush or sandpaper to clean the area around the damaged tiles. Make sure to remove any remaining adhesive, grout, or other debris.
Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the back of the new tile, then carefully press it into place. Make sure to use a tile spacer to ensure that the tile is properly aligned with the surrounding tiles.
Once the adhesive has set, remove the tile spacer and use a grout float to apply grout to the area around the new tile. Use a damp sponge to remove any excess grout from the tile surface.
Once the repair work is complete, refill the pool with water and turn on the pump and filter.
